The Escuela Taller Naranja project was borne out of a need to make artisans, apprentices of artisan crafts, and the community impact of their work more visible, lucrative, and share their historical significance. The endeavor was propelled by the Ministry of Culture in Colombia, as well as their connections with Escuelas Taller (School Workshops) throughout the nation.

Unreplicated served as a consultant for this task, was the leader of the eCommerce launch, coordinated with over 14 schools, dozens of artisans, a small core group of copywriters, social media creators, the legal team, and one front-end developer.

  • To launch an eCommerce platform for the Escuelas Taller network of artisans to make their crafts visible and share the stories behind their creations

  • Owned the entire eCommerce launch project from start to deployment and supported multiple maintenance projects post-launch

    • Created a pricing + shipping cost schema for each region of artisan

    • Built a comprehensive Product Information Management system

    • Trained core team on what information is required for Product Detail Pages

    • Secured web domain, all social media handles, outlined email alias creation for team members, and sig block template for the enterprise

    • Built the first iteration of EscuelaTallerNaranja.com

    • Designed site style, product templates, home page, about us, contact, and legal requirements

    • Collaborated closely with the legal team to ensure compliance with Colombian regulations

    • Hired a front-end dev resource to assist with enhancement building such as WhatsApp integration and Legal customization

    • Upon departure, provide team with a 40+ page wiki with all customized code, log-in data, and suggested roadmap
